We caught the tread of dancing feet, As we loitered down the moonlit street, Inside, above the din and fray, We heard the loud musicians play The ‘Treues Liebes Herz’ of Strauss As we stood beneath the harlot’s house. The shadows raced across the blind, Like black leaves wheeling in the wind Like strange mechanical grotesques Making fantastic arabesques We watched the ghostly dancers spin To the sound of horn and violin, Like wire-pulled automatons, Slim silhouetted skeletons Went sliding through the slow quadrille, Their laughter echoed thin and shrill. They took each other by the hand, And danced a stately saraband. Sometimes a clockwork puppet pressed A phantom lover to her breast, Sometimes a horrible marionette Came out, and smoked a cigarette Upon the steps like a living thing, Behind the shadows seemed to sing. Then, turning to my love, I said: “The dead are dancing with the dead.” But she – she heard the violin And left my side, and entered in: Love passed into the house lust, Now she is whirling with the dust. Then suddenly the tune went false, The dancers wearied of the waltz, The shadows ceased to wheel and whirl, I knew that soon would be my turn. I saw a shade so familiar, With an eerie glow in the eyes of her, She made a gesture as to beckon Me, to join the ranks with the fallen throng. I lost the struggle deep within, So she took my hand and lead me in Into the darkened house of lust Where lover’s blood turns into rust And so with cold fingers entwined We dance until the end of time Slowly here, forever, falling Falling lovely and amazing. And down the long and silent street The dawn, with silver-sandaled feet, Crept like a frightened girl, And banged her fist on the door: Let me in! Let me in! Let me in! Let me in! Let me in! Let me in! Let me in! Let me in!

Communion 03:50
Denial The source of my guilt Desire The game I cannot win Forgive me! Release me! The other side What is there for me? The cold and the dark Of long lonely sleep A savage And a beast You are Just like me Forgive me! Release me! God knows I cannot fight The urge in my mind No longer do I know What is right God knows I cannot fight The hunger in my mind As the water turns into wine And the wine into blood My hand is numb After all the wrong I’ve done So please reach me And give me peace Forgive me! Release me!

I woke up and lost my faith today What I see around me is a hunting ground Everyone is yet another prey I prowl sniffing like a well-trained hound I fear that I’ve done something absolutely Vile I know that you have something that I want And the way you look so scared is the best part of the fun I let you run and you can hide – whatever you like But when I got you in my sight I come like a bullet from a gun I fear that I’ve done a thing so vile The beauty must die The power is long gone But the spirit lingers on Die The beauty must die What have I done A thing so very vile

In the still of the moonless night Come to me in the circle of serpents O dark satanic mistress The scarlet queen of hell Dance before me Remove your crimson veil The queen of harlots Lilith the destroyer! My blood is thine So drink deep from me The secrets of men and the gods You whisper into my ears I pledge my soul unto thee From your snow white breasts I drink the wine of mysteries Between your thighs like a statue’s I writhe in ecstasy Dance before me Remove your crimson veil Mother of the demons O divine Babalon! In my benighted chamber Cold tongues lick my skin My blazing flesh in her hands The scarlet whore drives her nails in Dance before me Remove the crimson veil Redeem me from my being Make me come again!

So many times I have heard it before That in the end there’s nothing for us all No matter what I do one day it is time for a farewell But looking back I feel that I’ll be leaving hell And I’m not sorry for – at all It’s the world coming down The world coming down, tonight All our little dreams All our castles in the air Ashes to ashes, dust to dust Nothing ever lasts Somewhere behind there must have been The point of no return If you would have a second chance Where would you be? It’s not that we didn’t try hard enough But it’s because we have done damn too much And here we stand by our graves It’s the world coming down The world coming down, tonight All our secret fears Have now come to pass Ashes to ashes, dust to dust Nothing ever lasts

The streets fell into silence Tall, slender, in heavy mourning A woman passed With a glittering hand Raising the hem of her skirt I found her so beautiful in black A widow before we even met I wanted her for my own death When it was that we first met Away all the nameless people faded I parted her painted lips With a furtive glance And kept them a part for all night With a dreamy hand I found her so beautiful in black A widow before we even kissed I wanted her for my own death So quietly you touch the flowers So softly you caress the trees The hand that used to be so warm Is now a hand so cold And the woods stand so dark and still As the wind ripples the wintry sea Like the dying leaves of the solemn trees In time all the things must pass away But I whisper your name time and again

Morning Star 05:14
The fire and brimstone That’s what we call our home From the nether worlds we climbed so hard Just to be on your side The priests and the preachers They warn you of the charmers And how right they truly are We’ll take you much too far The sons of Morning Star The sons of Morning Star Born to kill and to burn we are The sons of Morning Star For so many years With fear in the eyes You have tried so hard To tie us down But better be warned, now For here we are again With all our fury Definitely not heaven sent You with your little charms You better step aside
8.
Waratah 05:53
Burning eyes of fire Like bleeding suns The beacons in the dark Swirling colours Of black and red The lace on your skin Red, red, red is your colour The blood on the face of the moon Every drop I take of the gift Of your dusky womb I smell the marks Here and there The great silver eye is full The scent of iron warmth Tells me where you have been Now naked and open like the night Salty rivers run From your true heart The stream into the sweet sea Between the sheets of crimson Your breath in my ears I drink deep
9.
Rapeman 03:36
Forgive Or revenge Sow love Or breed hate She – she wants She wants me Now – she hunts She hunts Me Always remember it is better To forgive than to take The sweet revenge On the one you couldn’t have But the human nature Plays its dirty tricks on you And you write a list Of the things you really want to do Rapeman, she wants to Rapeman I will stay true to you I will Never cast my eyes over Another one like you

In the land of sand Where the river flows They are waiting for me Kings in the chambers Of eternal stone Whisper in the hour of sleep Nothing is stranger to men Than silence, and wisdom, and kindness In the fires of fate I forge myself The Spirit of Solitude Did I leave behind Anything I would miss Have I done anything I would regret? Bury me in a nameless grave The Devil walks in my wake I’m not here for just anyone Give me the Moon, Stars and the Sun All is sorrow And the pay of man is death The High Gods’ laughter I hear Do what thou wilt Shall be the whole of the Law And love shall be the sole thing that binds By the powers of the seven Angels I break the seal and cross the Abyss By the powers of the seven Angels I break the bonds between you and me
11.
A lonely heart To a lonely soul: I know it’s you I’ve been searching for Through all these long years When I was lost The dreams that I used to dream I know by now Were not the dreams for me And I don’t care if you will stay Now, hold me for a little while I’ve been Waiting for The time to come for our Happiness in crime As these words fade away There is nothing left to hide I know that some of them say That you have the cloven hoofs But when I look at you I don’t mind the poison in our food Like the finest wine you are And I’m too shy to taste Will I die without knowing It’s just the same Give me a sign, a little smile God, tell me you want me Please, I have to know This cannot go on
